New Energy Supply Arrangements
The Southern Alpine Resort Management Board (SARMB) is the generator, distributor and retailer of electricity at the Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort – Baw Baw Village. SARMB is also the distributer and retailer of gas.
New connections:
Baw Baw Village site holders requiring a new connection to the Village electricity or gas networks are required to submit an energy connection request to permits@mtbawbaw.com.au. Connection works must be undertaken by a licensed provider and must not be commenced until an Energy Services Connection Permit is issued by the Board.
Customers:
Supply of energy to Baw Baw Village properties is subject to the Energy Supply – Electricity and Gas – Agreement terms and conditions. New customers should complete the Customer Details Form and return this to energy@mtbawbaw.com.au
Energy Fees and Charges:
Consumption Charge – Electricity Usage Tariff $0.9130 per kWh (from 20 May 2022)
Consumption Charge – Gas Usage Tariff $1.0799 per litre (Feb – May 2022 quarter)
Consumption Charge – Gas Usage Tariff $1.0110 per litre (May – August 2022 quarter)
Supply Charge $39.95 per meter per quarter (from 20 May 2022)
*GST is applied to all fees.
Supply Issues:
The Resort aims to deliver a continuous and reliable energy supply, however the Baw Baw Village is a remote alpine destination and unplanned outages do occur and may be for an extended period. The Resort provides communication to customers in advance of any scheduled outages. These are scheduled to minimise impact on customers , resort services and visitors.
