Shop nowMake tracks for the mountains this green season and enjoy a stay above the clouds at 1450m. Green season runs from October to May each year with peak wildflower season early in the new year. With something for everyone, you can’t go wrong planning your holiday this summer!

Resort Entry Free!
Mt Baw Baw facilities are closed for the Green Season.
However, you are still welcome to visit the resort and enjoy outdoor activities such as mountain biking and hiking.
We recommend downloading our trail maps before your visit.
No food and beverage venues will be open during the Green Season, except on event weekends.
Please bring your own food and snacks.
Safe drinking water is available from all taps – we recommend bringing a refillable water bottle.
Undercover BBQs are available for guest use. (Please ensure BBQs are cleaned thoroughly after use.)
The following facilities are not open during the Green Season:
Village Central Restaurant (closed except on event weekends)
Café 11
Skiosk
Warm eating area
Please note: The toilet block in Carpark 1 will remain open for guest use.
Mt Baw Baw-owned accommodation is not available during the Green Season, except on event weekends.
If you have a booking, self check-in instructions will be sent to you via email or SMS before your arrival.

The Victorian Downhill Series (VDHS), Victoria’s premiere downhill mountain bike race series, returns to Baw Baw in 2026 with an action packed weekend on the 14th and 15th of February.
