Visitors to alpine areas in Victoria are required by law to carry diamond type snow chains during declared snow season for their vehicle. Chains must be carried from South Face Road and from Tanjil Bren.
CHAIN HIRE
Mt Baw Baw operates a chain fitting service at the Resort Entry 9am-5pm daily as required. We do not stock chains for all vehicle types and tyre sizes and strongly recommend you hire chains in advance to save money and avoid missing out.
