Learn to Ride (LTR) & Progression Program:
The Progression program is designed to make learning to snowboard fun and easy, by combining proven teaching methodologies with specific equipment.
The Equipment:
Perhaps the most ground breaking aspect of the LTR program is the equipment, specifically the snowboards. LTR boards feature a softer flex, radical side cut and forgiving edge bevel, all of which are designed to reduce the likelihood of catching an edge. Along the same line, LTR boots and bindings are softer flexing, allowing the rider to move easily guide the board into a turn. The Burton LTR board is designed to improve learning and is subject to availability.
At Mt Baw Baw, we have highly qualified and passionate instructors from all over the world.Their job is to introduce you to the fundamentals of snowboarding, from the understanding of your first stance and turns through to the more advanced freestyle moves! The group lesson is a fun way to have a go yourself, watch others and get feedback from you dedicated instructor.
Lessons last for 2 hours: available at 9am, 11am and 1.30pm - Reservations are essential and subject to availability.
Please note: Lessons are 1 hour for 1-2 students, 3+ students are entitles to the full 2 hour lesson. Child snowboarding lessons available for 8-15year old.
The Lift Ticket:
Here are Mt Baw Baw we feel it is silly to stop your progress - Therefore we have provided a full mountain lift pass - with NO restrictions.
